Spiritual Gifts Share Groups

Exciting news coming out of PPR!

As part of building up the Body of Christ here at Pfrimmer’s Chapel, we’ll be offering an opportunity to learn more about our spiritual gifts and how they can be used to glorify God here at the church.

Here’s how it will work:

In early May, you will have the chance to sign up for these spiritual gifts share groups. From those names, the PPR will then prayerfully place folks in groups of 8-10, and each group will have a host. For example, if there are 40 folks who want to participate, then there will be at least 4 different share groups with 4 different hosts.

Beginning in June, these share groups will meet 4 times in the summer at the host’s home for a time of eating and fellowship. (We’ll be taking a two-month break from our normal Wednesday night routine of meals, although some ministries will continue to meet throughout the summer.)

Following would be the recommended schedule throughout the summer:

Wednesday, June 11
6 p.m. --Light meal
7 p.m. --Taking the Spiritual Gifts Inventory

Wednesday, June 25
6 p.m. --Light meal
7 p.m. --Understanding the Gifts Within You

Wednesday, July 9
6 p.m. --Light meal
7 p.m. --How Your Gift Blesses God

Wednesday, July 30
6 p.m. --Light meal
7 p.m. --How Your Gift Will Bless this Church

As we then head into August and September, not only will we have a better grasp of where God wants to use us for His Kingdom work, but the church through the Nominations Committee will have a better idea of where folks can be most used to glorify God.

Through fellowship (and, of course eating!), sharing, building community, and understanding one’s unique giftedness as empowered by the Holy Spirit, we think this is going to be the start of something great.
